For Karats — A Visual Showcase

As Karats prepares to open a new store, this is the right moment to invest in imagery that reflects both your future and your foundation. The work here highlights projects I’ve done for other businesses, paired with how the same approach can elevate your brand. Strong visuals will help you reach new clients while also keeping you connected to the people who already trust and choose Karats.

Headshots & Team Portraits

I’ve created headshots for a wide range of professionals, from corporate teams to individual entrepreneurs. For KBS Constructors, I photographed thirty staff members in just over an hour, delivering a set of consistent, true-to-color portraits for their marketing. I’ve also worked one-on-one with business owners and sales professionals, creating images that matched their personal brands.

For Karats, this is about more than the sales team. It’s the people of Karats — everyone who contributes to the customer experience, whether they’re in the showroom or behind the scenes. From associates helping customers at the counter to specialists working where clients never go, every person deserves to be represented with a polished, professional portrait. Together, those images show the full story of who you are as a company.

Environmental Branding Portraits

Headshots introduce the people of Karats. Environmental portraits show them in action. For a PhD psychologist, I created portraits and interior images that humanized her work and made her practice feel warm and approachable. The same approach works beautifully for Karats.

These portraits highlight the people who bring your brand to life, whether they’re greeting clients in the showroom, helping a bride try on a ring, or working behind the scenes to keep the store running. By capturing your team in their real environment, we show not just who they are but how they make customers feel. It’s a way to connect the human side of Karats with the luxury of your jewelry.

Interiors & Exteriors

When Washburn Rural North Middle School opened their brand new campus, I was asked to document the building and grounds in a way that highlighted both the scale of the space and the details that made it unique. Those images were used to showcase the design, layout, and experience of the school for the district and community.

Karats is about to celebrate a similar milestone with the opening of your new store. I can create the same style of work for you — wide architectural photographs that capture the scope and beauty of the showroom, paired with detailed shots of cases, lighting, and finishes. These images make your new space a destination in itself and help you tell the story of growth, investment, and craftsmanship behind the Karats brand.

Product & Services Imagery

At Hyde Salon, I created a mix of imagery that included product photos, client interactions, and a team portrait that captured the energy of the business. The goal was to show not just what they offered but also how it felt to be a client in their space.

For Karats, this same approach can highlight the full experience of your brand. I can photograph signature pieces with sharp, true-to-color detail, capture moments of your team interacting with customers, and create portraits that celebrate the people behind the jewelry. Together, these images give you versatile assets that show both your products and your service, reinforcing the premium experience clients can expect at Karats.

Documentary Storytelling

With KMRA Tasting Club, I photographed the story behind the food as it unfolded. From a blowtorch finishing a steak to the fire element igniting at a dining room table, the images captured both the craft in the kitchen and the excitement in the room.

For Karats, documentary storytelling can add a dynamic layer to your brand. Whether it is capturing the behind-the-scenes preparation for the new store, photographing special events, or documenting the customer experience in real time, these images create energy and authenticity. They show not just what you sell, but the life, excitement, and craft that surround it.

Client Interaction

At Belladerma Med Spa, I created a full suite of images in a single day: headshots, team portraits, branding photography, product imagery, and client interactions. The most powerful of those were the interaction shots — staff providing services, clients being cared for, and moments that showed the trust and professionalism behind the brand.

For Karats, the same approach can highlight the way your team connects with clients. Whether it is helping someone try on an engagement ring, guiding a couple through wedding band options, or celebrating a milestone purchase, interaction photography makes the customer experience feel tangible. These images show not just the jewelry but the care and attention that define the Karats brand.

Product Photography

When 23rd Street Brewery launched a new menu, they needed photography that would elevate their food for advertising and social media. I created a mix of images that included styled tabletop shots, clean white-backdrop photos, and close-up details of both new items and best sellers. The goal was consistency and quality across a wide range of products.

For Karats, this same level of attention can bring your jewelry to life. From crisp, detailed images of engagement rings and wedding bands to styled photographs that highlight your signature collections, product photography ensures that every piece looks as beautiful online as it does in the showroom. These images become versatile assets for advertising, social media, and web, keeping the presentation of your products as polished as the pieces themselves.

Let’s Capture What’s Next

With your new store opening, this is the perfect moment to invest in visuals that show who Karats is today and where the brand is headed. From the people who make it all happen, to the space you’ve built, to the jewelry itself — strong imagery will carry your story forward, creating a first impression for new clients and reminding longtime clients why they continue to choose Karats.
