Hi, I’m Joe. I’m a photographer based in the Kansas City area, working with people who want images that feel natural, intentional, and true to who they are.

My work is built on preparation and structure. Before a camera ever comes out, there’s a clear plan for how a session will run, how it will look, and what it needs to accomplish. That foundation allows people to relax into the process instead of trying to figure it out in real time.

On set, direction is simple and direct. You’re never left guessing what to do, but it never feels forced. The goal is to create space for real interaction while still producing images that are consistent and repeatable.

Over time, that approach becomes more than just a single session. It creates a body of work that feels connected, whether it’s for a personal project, a family, or a business building its visual identity.

I work with individuals, families, and business owners who value a process that is thoughtful, efficient, and built to produce images that hold up long after the session is over.

I’m based in Shawnee, Kansas and work throughout the Kansas City area, but I’m comfortable traveling when a project calls for it. Travel isn’t a limitation. It’s often part of the story.
